What’s Next?

Well our sale for last week went quite well and we have added a few new customers as a result.  I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all newcomers to Made Yarns and I hope that you will enjoy your shopping experience with us.

As the holiday period gets under way, things slow down a little, at least as far as you the customer is concerned.  However, we are busy now preparing for new stock to go on the shelves.  This is the time of year when we need our customer’s support the most both at meetings and picking up the odd ball of wool from us.  Regular visits make all the difference and helps us to get through the difficulties that Summer can bring with it.

It is a little early for the Autmn collection yet, but in the next month or two, there should be some lovely things to look at and I cannot wait to see what is coming next!  You might want to look at the blogs we are following as I have tried to select these when I have found what they want to say is of interest, in the hope that you will find it interesting too.

The latest of these I have looked at is http://www.slugsontherefrigerator.com, which is a blog featured in this months’s Simply Crochet Magazine (46).  I have included it as this lady is so very enthusiastic about her local yarn shop, she talks about the joys of shopping there and how friendly and helpful the staff are, which is just something you cannot get online.  She loves to feel yarn while purchasing and she recognises how it fits in with the type of person she is as a crafter.

Every week, I hear from people that come in from other areas who say how lucky Wallasey is to have a wool shop and how they miss the one that has gone from their town.  We move in uncertain times, but I hope to continue to provide the service that we have been providing for the last 8.5 years.  As ever, if there are yarns you want to see in stock. please let us know.
